Hotel Furmint reopened its doors to those arriving in Sárospatak to relax. The building has been renovated not only outside but also inside – the complete renovation of its 23 rooms satisfies all the needs of our guests.

From 31 January 2022, the hotel was transferred to the care of Tokaj-Hegyalja University Zrt., which is also responsible for the maintenance of Tokaj-Hegyalja University.

Appropriate professional training is of great importance in the region, but especially in the Sárospatak University of the Tokaj-Hegyalja wine region. This is also shown by the fact that tourism-hospitality and management education appears at all levels of the University’s training palette, including undergraduate, advanced vocational and master’s degrees. The physical proximity of the hotel and the University is therefore no coincidence, as prospective tourism and hospitality professionals will also be able to spend their internships here to further strengthen and age the reputation of the region and the ‘alma mater’ in Hotel Furmint after graduation.

The hotel is also constantly expanding its range of services. At present, our guests have access to massages and a sauna, upon prior appointment.
